Dr. Julio Lococo is a surgeon, specialist in coloproctology. He has been working for more than 20 years in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the Hospital Churruca Visca in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also a surgery professor at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Julio Lococo is a certified member of the Sociedad Argentina de Coloproctología and the Asociación Argentina de Cirugía. He is also the author of several scientific papers and book chapters in the area of coloproctology and robotic colorectal surgery.
His main scientific interest is oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He stands out for being one of the first surgeons in Argentina specializing in robotic colorectal surgery, carrying out a program in robotic surgery in Buenos Aires.
