My name is Elisa Cassinotti. I’m from Italy. I’m EAES Member since 2015. I completed my residency in General Surgery at the end of 2014 then I attended a Fellowship in MAS (in 2015) at Minimally Invasive Surgery Research Center in Varese under supervision of Professor Luigi Boni; during last years I’ve always been involved in research and development of new technologies in the field of laparoscopic surgery such as: single port surgery instrumentations, new transanal endoscopic surgical platforms, ICG enhanced fluorescence camera system and percutaneous instrumentations, working together with some leading companies on the market. In 2017 I completed my PhD in Biotechnologies, Biosciences and Surgical Technologies at University of Insubria – Varese with dissertation titled “Clinical Applications of Fluorescence Guided Surgery”. Currently I work in Milan, at Policlinico Hospital, being involved in minimally invasive surgical practice and actively partecipating to several national and international clinical studies. I am responsible for lessons of International Medical School (University of Milan) and I have an active role in organizing and mentoring residents’ activities, tutoring them for final year’s researches and thesis writing.
